Mr. Lokesh Todi leads the operation of Yeti Polychem and Yeti Carpet at Reliance Group Nepal. Prior to working at Reliance Group, Mr. Todi was a Senior Analyst at Analysis Group in Boston where he provided his Economic Expertise in litigation related cases to various government organizations and Fortune 500 firms. Mr. Todi recieved his MBA degree from Yale University where he was an Emerging Entrepreneurship Fellow.
Mr. Sher Bahadur Budhathoki is a Banking professional with more than 33 years of experience. He has been associated with Siddhartha Bank Limited since its inception in 2002 and currently holds the corporate position of Assistant Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his role at Siddhartha Bank, Mr. Budhathoki was associated with Nabil Bank where he gained diverse function expertise in Banking Operations, Trade Finance, Corporate Credit, and Micro Banking.
Mr. Chandan Karki brings with him more than 16 years of Banking and Capital Markets experience. He is the Chief Investment and Marketing Officer at Kumari Bank Limited. Prior to his role at Kumari Bank, Mr. Karki was associated with Siddhartha Bank Limited in diverse roles including Marketing, Treasury, Correspondent Banking and Infrastructure.
Mr. Parikshit Khemka is the Director of Nature Resources Industries since 1999 and the Director of Mahavir Shree International since 2013. In his roles, he leads Financial Mangement, Business Development and Project Implementation. He also supervises these companies' expansion efforts in foreign markets. He is a member of Independent Power Producers' Association, Nepal.
Mr. Bashudev Adhikari was associated with Nepal Rastra Bank for over 30 years and retired from the post of Executive Director. At Nepal Rastra Bank, he worked in multiple departments including Banks and Financial Institution Regulation, Supervision, Foreign Exchange Management, and Internal Audit. Mr. Adhikari was also the Chairman of Nepal Bank Limited.
Mr. Dhruba Timilsina brings with him more than 20 years of experience in Capital Markets. He was the CEO of Siddhartha Capital Limited and under his leadership, Siddhartha Capital became the first organization to obtain Mutual Fund Manager license and launch the first Mutual Fund Scheme. His vision and strategies yielded excellent returns for the mutual fund investors and shareholders. Prior to this, he worked at Securities Board of Nepal for 10 years in different departments and made significant contribution in formulating various regulations and guidelines related to securities market. He holds an MBA degree from Tribhuvan University.
Mr. Teknarayan Sharma brings with him more than 16 years of experience from the fields of Investments, Asset Management, Deal Structuring, Financial Modeling and Financial Analysis. He was the Assistant Vice President of Primary Real Estate Advisors. His team invested in 11 proposals worth around NPR1600 crores spread across Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore in Residential, Commercial and Hospital sector using a mix of debt and equity. He also has analysis experience at JP Morgan. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering form Mumbai University and an MBA degree(Finance) form ICFAI Business School, India.
Mr. Kishor Prasad Bimali brings with him more than 14 years of experience in Financial Services. He has played an instrumental role in establishing Credit Rating practices in Nepal. He was the Head of Rating Division at ICRA Nepal (Subsidiary of ICRA, a MOODY'S Investor Service company) for more than 8 years and was also the member of the rating committee. He has reviewed over 400 companies form diverse business sectors of Nepal. Prior to joining Avasar, Mr. Bimali was the Deputy CEO of National Cooperative Bank Limited. He is a Chartered Accountant and was awarded Gold Medal for securing first rank in Intermediate Level of Chartered Accountancy.
Mr. Kundan Sharma brings with him more than 11 years of experience in Banking, Capital Markets and Audit. He was the CEO of B.O.K. Capital. Under his leadership, the company turned profitable for the first time and distributed dividends. Prior to that, he was associated with the Research and Planning Department of Machhapuchchhre Bank. Mr. Sharma led different departments at Lumbini Bikas Bank Limited including Internal Audit, Risk Management and Finance. He also worked at Shangri-la Development Bank where he assessed Operation and Credit Risk. He is a Chartered Accountant.
Mr. Nihal Shrestha is responsible for financial Modelling, Company Valuation, Industry Research, Company Analysis, Portfolio Monitoring and Due Diligence support. He brings with him experience from the fields of Investment Analysis, Valuation, Asset Management and Investment Structuring. Prior to joining Avasar, he has worked with Business Oxygen Pvt Ltd. Mr. Shrestha is a CFA charter holder and holds a BBA finance & Banking degree from Siam University, Thailand.
Ms. Kusum Maharjan supports Finance, Accounts, Administration and Human Resource function at Avasar. Her experience lies in the fields of Accounting, Financial Management, Audit, Taxation and Compliance. In the past, Ms. Maharajan has worked with companies from Property Management, Manufacturing and Hospitality sectors. She is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BBS degree in Finance from Tribhuvan University.
Mr. Amulya Bashyal is responsible for Investment Analysis and monitoring performance of the portfolio companies. His experience lies in the fields of Economic Research, Equity Research and Valuation. Prior to joining Avasar, he was at Siddhartha Capital Limited. He is pursuing CFA (Level l complete) and has degree in Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Accounting & Finance from Sheffield Hallam University, United Kingdom
Mr. Bigyan Bhandari is responsible for Investment analysis, financial modeling, company valuation, industry research and monitoring performance of the portfolio companies. His experience lies in the fields of investment analysis, financial analysis, modeling, valuation, and equity research. Prior to joining Avasar, he was at Kumari Capital Limited. Mr. Bhandari has a degree of bachelor’s in business studies-Finance major and is pursuing Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Ms. Ritu Syangtan provides legal support, manages compliance and aid in reducing legal risks. She has experience in ensuring company compliance, reviewing and drafting contracts and proposals. Prior to joining Avasar, she worked at Vidhi Legal Concern. She has a degree in Bachelor of Laws (B.A.LL.B.) from Kathmandu School of Law.
Ms. Mingma Chhoti Sherpa provides the administrative support, logistic arrangement and performs front desk operation and account related tasks. She has experience in operating the front desk, administrative and logistic support work. Prior to joining Avasar, she worked at Nepal Madhesh Foundation (NGO). She has a degree in Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) and is pursuing a master’s degree in business studies.
